„Der Bagger muss in Flammen stehen!” – Parolen wie diese lassen einige Menschen aufschrecken. Nicht nur das: die letzten Jahre waren geprägt von Diskursen über die Klimagerechtigkeitsbewegung, was sie darf und was sie nicht darf, wo politischer Protest anfängt und wo er seine Grenze findet.Das die klimapolitischen Anliegen legitim sind, wurde wissenschaftlich hinreichend verifiziert. Nur ist die Methode angebracht? Ist das Mittel mit dem klimapolitische Anliegen artikuliert und auch gegen geltendes Recht umgesetzt werden adäquat?Wir wollen uns gemeinsam mit euch der Frage nach Möglichkeiten und Grenzen von Protest nähern . Wir haben keine starren Antworten auf die Frage, sondern wünschen uns einen regen Austausch mit unterschiedlichsten Ansichten zu Politik, Gesellschaft und Protest.Zu Beginn werden kurz einige Begriffe rund ums Thema Protest klären, um im Anschluss mit Euch in die Diskussion einzuleiten.Starten wird der rege Austausch um 18:00 c.t. im Foyer des Unteren Schloss (US-C).
“The excavator must be on fire!” – Slogans like these make some people sit up and take notice. Not only that: the last few years have been marked by discourses about the climate justice movement, what it is allowed to do and what it is not allowed to do, where political protest begins and where it finds its limit.That the climate policy concerns are legitimate has been sufficiently verified scientifically. But is the method appropriate? Is the means by which climate policy concerns are articulated and implemented, even against the law, adequate? We want to approach the question of the possibilities and limits of protest together with you. We do not have any rigid answers to the question, but would like to have a lively exchange with different views on politics, society and protest. At the beginning, we will briefly clarify some terms around the topic of protest, in order to then initiate the discussion with you. The lively exchange will start at 18:00 c.t. in the foyer of the Lower Castle (US-C).
